Sam is the Lead Practitioner of Saplings 2.  She has 3 years experience in a nursery and has worked at Grace's for the past two years.  Sam has her CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.  She has a real talent for bringing new activity ideas to the room and researching new ways to enhance the environment and make it even more exciting!  She has bundles of energy and always has lots too say!  She is a firm favourite with parents, being very approachable and always making time for them no matter how busy she is!

Samantha is a qualified Nursery Practitioner with 16 years experience.  She has an NVQ Level 2 in Children's Care, Learning & Development and an NVQ Level 4 in Management. Samantha has her own son who is 11 years old.  Samantha is really interested in how children develop, but particularly their social development and how they form relationships with others and develop their confidence.  She loves nothing more than providing children with a fun filled day.  At the end of the day it feels like a job well done when she sees their smiley faces.


Sian is an Assistant Practitioner; she has her Level 2 Certificate in Children and Young People's Workforce and is working towards her Level 3.  Sian demonstrates a real flair for making meaningful observations and planning next steps for children.  Sian is very welcoming, willing and a quick learner which makes her a great member of the team.  

Bonnie has been working in childcare for the last 14 years and has a level 3 in childcare as well as an assessors qualification. She loves working at Grace's as it is a fun happy place to work. She loves going to the Forest School which we have on site and feels that it brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the children's learning. The best part of her job is the enjoyment she gets watching the children grow and develop. 

April is a Nursery Practitioner in Saplings 2 as well as being the equal opportunity co-ordinator for the nursery. April has a BTEC level 2 and also a NVQ level 3 in  children's care, learning and development. April has over 7 years experience and has worked in a variety of settings. Her areas of strength are setting up fun and exciting activities for the children and finding new things for the children to try. April is loud and bubbly and throws herself into all sorts of activities. She also has a second job at the weekends and is a level 2 beauty therapist. April thinks the best part of her job is seeing the children grow up and develop into their own person with their own personality and independence; this gives her a sense of achievement in her job.
