At Grace’s, we aim to have an inclusive environment where everyone is welcomed and included. We feel passionately about giving all children the opportunity to thrive and develop at their own rate.
Children with Special Educational Needs or disabilities (SEND) have learning difficulties that make it harder for them to learn than most children of the same age and require special educational provision to be made for them. These children will need different or extra help from that given to others.
If your child has SEND, they will be able to access help, called SEND support.
We know that the most important people in any child’s life are their parents. You know your children best of all. We want to work successfully with you and feel it is important that you are fully involved in decisions that affect your children in nursery.
At Grace’s, we have Nicole Knight-Stevenson, a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDco) who oversees SEND across our sites.
